CH (CPT) Christopher K. Salvant Sr.

CH (CPT) Christopher K. Salvant Sr. has a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy & Religion from Florida A&M University in 2012. He also earned a Master of Divinity degree from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA in December 2020. He received his ordination from Higher Dimension Church Tallahassee as a Collegiate and Missions Minister from 2017 to present. He continues to serve his congregation as a leader and is a Middle School teacher at Fairview Middle School in Tallahassee, FL.

Chaplain Salvant began his military career as a Specialist in the National Guard in 2013. He served as a Horizontal Construction Engineer in the Florida National Guard and conducted natural disaster response missions including Hurricane Michael (2018) and Hurricane Irma (2017).

He was promoted to Sergeant in 2016. After completing his 6 years of service in the Florida Guard he commissioned as a chaplain candidate for the Army Reserves with the 160^thMilitary Police Battalion in Tallahassee FL in 2019. He later completed the Chaplain Officer Basic Course in the summer of 2021 and later accessioned as a First Lieutenant Chaplain and assigned to the 787^th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, in Dalton, AL in August 2021 which he presently serves as the Battalion Chaplain. Chaplain Salvant has been married to Lakeisha Michelle Salvant formerly Hayes, of Tallahassee, FL for 8 years. They have one child together: Christopher K. Salvant Jr. (6) born on September 19, 2015.
